Shakira commenced work in the legal profession in 2014 and has worked exclusively in the Darling Downs region since that time.

Before focusing on Family Law, Shakira gained knowledge and experience in the areas of Estate Planning, Personal Injury and Conveyancing.

Shakira joined the OFL team in early 2022 as an Associate having practiced exclusively in Family Law since 2017.

She is experienced in achieving the best possible outcome for her clients and consistently provides practical perspectives and sensible advice through her resolution focused style of practice.

Shakira is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and is registered on the High Court of Australia Register of Practitioners. She is also a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Family Law Practitioners Association.
